Program Objectives

  • To discuss current practices in selection criteria in the surgical treatment of epilepsy
  • To investigate the role of pharmacogenomics in epilepsy
  • To better understand the relationship between pharmacogenomics and patient response to medications
  • To identify the risk of epilepsy after TBI; prevention, diagnosis, and prognosis
  • To examine methods used in managing and surgical treatment of TBI
